Textile production produces 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually, and that is more than those of all international flights and maritime shipping combined. If fashion were a country, it would be the 4th largest CO2 emitter in the world that is effectively undermining global efforts to address climate change. 19th of February 2019 was another important day when the Environmental Audit Committee published a report 'Fixing Fashionas the fashion industry’s current business model is clearly unsustainable. The report called retailers to step away from their unsustainable business models and work towards a sustainable future.

Generally, sustainable fashion is made with extra care to protect the environment (nature, people, animals and health). The Sustainable Fashion Forum has defined it: "Sustainable fashion is the umbrella that encompasses the environmental, social and ethical production and consumption of clothing. The complete lifespan of a garment from its initial design to end-of-life options are considered in order for a garment to be considered sustainable." But for us, that's a common sense and means a lot more than doing a business in the right way - its about creating a better and happier life for all. We believe that healing is our responsibility to ensure that there is a good life for future generations and urge everyone to find ways how to live a sustainable lifestyle. Efforts to green this polluting industry require actions from both, businesses and consumers.
